Automechanika Birmingham 2019 was a record-breaking success, attracting more than 12,000 visitors from the UK automotive industry, the highest ever attendance.  


500 exhibitors from 23 countries attended the largest gathering for the UK automotive industry, with 120 new suppliers showcasing their products to a fully receptive market. 90% of the 12,145 visitors who visited were from the UK.

Leading names from the aftermarket helped to attract aftermarket visitors that comprised 88% of the overall audience. Visitors included Euro Car Parts, Halfords, A1 Motor Services, Allspares, The AA, Motor Parts Direct, The Parts Alliance, GSF Car Parts, Volkswagen Group UK, Kwik-Fit, Formula 1 Autocentres, ATS Euromaster.

After a fantastic event in 2019, Sykes Pickavant spoke to us to tell us what really worked for the company and how they achieved success, exhibiting at Automechanika Birmingham.

Going into the show Autologic wanted to re-establish its presence in the market since its acquisition by Opus Group in 2017, showcasing its unification within the Opus brand.


The face to face conversations are invaluable

HELLA's main objectives for exhibiting at Automechanika Birmingham is to reach the UK market to inform them about the different products that they offer and raise brand awareness. 

“This is the best show yet, very well attended by visitors and the leading suppliers. I can have more appointments in 2 days than what I could in 5 or 6 weeks. All of the main suppliers are here, Directors and main decision makers are here.”
