PAINTINGS LOOK BETTER WITH M GRAHAM COLOR
Graham professional artist grade paints are hand crafted in the USA. We believe we have a responsibility to every artist that chooses our color, so we are continually working to create the best color possible. We do this by using the finest pigment and traditional ingredients to taking the time to custom mill each color.
Not only is M. Graham paint solvent-free, but so are our manufacturing and cleaning processes. We use walnut oil and non-toxic soaps to clean our rollers and equipment. Solvent-free painting is better for artists, our employees, and the environment.
Available in oil, acrylic, gouache, and watercolor.
Our artist quality oil color is made with walnut oil. A traditional oil paint where you can be completely solvent-free including cleaning your brushes with walnut oil. Walnut oil yellows less than other oils which is especially important in your whites, yellows and blues.
Professional grade heavy body acrylic made with a unique high solids acrylic polymer allows us to increase pigment load and offers slower drying time.
Our professional grade artist gouache uses no chalks or fillers. Instead, we over fill with pigment to get the matte finish and opacity.
Our artist quality watercolor is made with honey. Honey acts as a natural humectant so it pulls the moisture out of the air leaving our paint more moist in the palette. By using honey we can avoid using artificial humectants and preservatives in our paints and instead infuse more color. Because of honey our watercolors dilute easily, even after months of disuse, and resist hardening in the palette

M Graham Walnut Oil
Used by artists from the Renaissance, walnut oil offers greater freedom of application. Our walnut oil is designed to augment the special nature of our oil color but it is completely compatible with other artists oil colors and mediums. The addition of walnut oil to color will slow drying, enhance flow, and increase sheen.
Walnut oil has a unique refractive index. Colors ground in this fine oil are more jewel-like and bright. Using walnut oil allows us to increase the amount of pigment of each color resulting in paints with the highest possible mass tone and tint strength and thus creating paintings saturated with extraordinary color.
Walnut oil does not yellow as much as other oils. This is especially important in whites, blues, and yellows. The slower drying nature of walnut oil allows for a longer open time.
Be solvent free by using walnut oil to clean your brushes. Walnut oil is a natural oil that does not evaporate or remove essential oils from the artist brushes.

M Graham Oil Paint
M Graham professional grade artist oil color is ground in walnut oil because of its unique refractive index and non-yellowing nature. Due to this, our colors retail their clarity over time and are free from the discoloring associated with other drying oils. The increased pigment load in our color results in extraordinary richness, color saturation, brilliance, and tinting strength.
You can be completely solvent free by using our oil paints and mediums. You do this by using walnut oil to thin your paint as well as clean your brushes thus eliminating the need for solvents.
Experience the quality and consistency of M Graham paint across all four of our paint lines: watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and oil. You can move seamlessly between mediums with our uniform color and color continuity.

M Graham Acrylic Paint
M Graham professional grade artist acrylics are made using a unique, high solids acrylic resin. This allows us to substantially increase pigment loads by reducing our dependency on artificial thickeners. Greater pigment loads result in lively, bright clean colors. This heavy body acrylic is slower drying which provides longer workability.

M Graham Watercolor Paint
M Graham professional grade artist watercolors are made with honey. Honey acts as a natural humectant so it pulls the moisture out of the air leaving our paint more moist in the palette and in the tube. Our watercolors will rewet almost immediately even after months of disuse. Preferred by artists for centuries, honey with balanced amounts of gum Arabic and water create a fluid binding medium which enables us to disperse exceptional amounts of pigment. The higher pigment loads provide greater color saturation and richness for a complete range of performance from delicate tints to dark, concentrated color.

M Graham Gouache Paint
M Graham professional grade artist gouache contains no chalks or fillers that can degrade the appearance of the color when dry. To achieve the opacity, our gouache is made with honey which allows us to over load each color with more high performance pigment resulting in an even, matte finish. The nature of our color allows for the widest range of versatility from fine art to designer projects.
